Alex was a good girl. She always did as she should and was nice to everyone. She never had to be punished when she was growing up either. Her parents loved her and other parents wished their kids were like her. Alex went through her life in a nice and 'safe' way. She didn't hang out with people who would get into trouble, she avoided drugs and alcohol, porn, R rated movies, and anything else that could be considered 'bad'. She had managed all A's through out school, she graduated top of her class in physics at her university, and she was now working on various scientific studies at the lab downtown.
Today had been a normal day at the lab and a normal night at home. To sum it up in one word,

Dragons

Twisting and turning through the water,
Like an lure of a fishing angler.
Soaring and swooping through the air,
Like a eagle in midair.

Storming the mountains on your quakes of earth.
Unearthing everything like a farmer unearths weeds.
Burning and hoarding with your breath of the fire.
Like a greedy human who would slash tires.

Hiding, waiting sneaking  in the darkness
Waiting to get rid of that awful actress.
Shining brightly for all to see in the light.
Resembling a knight in shining armor so very bright

These are the types of dragons that are in the legends of old.
So now that you have read part of this poem behold!
There are many dragons and many types!
So stop listening to those bloody bagpipes!

For the Water Dragons there was the mighty Hyrdos
Not the king of the waters but surely one of the mightiest.
Able to swim faster and longer than any other.
He is a mighty dragon of the sea.

For the dragons of the sky
The dragon Aeros the Mighty
Is our symbol for them
Able to swoop silently without even disturbing the grass.

For the denizens of the earth,
Their champion is Terra
His own rare ability to cause extreme earthquakes
He is a force to be reckoned with.

Hephaestus represents the Fire dragons.
With breath so powerful
And a lust of greed equally strong
Not even the toughest or the most heavily guarded diamonds can withstand him.

These next two talk about two different entities.
The forces of Darkness and Light.
Two very polar opposites.
It’s a wonder they haven’t destroyed one another!

The forces of Darkness and the Dragons that wield it
Are championed by the  terrible Erebus
With his breath of acid
He makes a meal out of the bravest of paladins

The most holiest of dragons, the Light,
Are spoken for by holy  Helios.
Not one who loves to fight,
But will defend his home from the Dark Knights.
